Thorey Gera Textilveredelung GmbH is a contract supplier and now also a certified manufacturer of particle filtering half masks
Together with partners from Thuringia, we have developed a mask prototype according to CPA and FFP standards. The particle-reducing Corona SARS-CoV-2 pandemic respiratory protection mask was approved in accordance with Rev. 2 of 02.06.2020 (CPA). The approval according to CE-marking was granted on November 19, 2020.
We have expanded our portfolio with the production of particle filtering half masks and actively responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated supply bottlenecks of foreign manufacturers. Since July 2020, Thorey Gera Textilveredelung GmbH has been producing masks in-house: "Made in Germany".

Fake masks in circulation - ZDF reports
The Thorey folding pandemic mask is CPA tested and meets the high requirements.
However, even in pharmacies, masks that do not meet the quality and protective effect of the FFP-2 standard are sold time and again. To ensure consistent quality, we at Thorey use a new monitoring process that we developed together with LLA Instruments GmbH & Co. KG, the Textile Research Institute Thüringen-Vogtland e.V. and the IOM Leibniz Institute for Surface Modification e.V..
